4. (Optional) WebService update
This step is optional in case your WebServer does not meet the version numbers indicated below in this document.
This process will update your php version to the 7.4.30 and the apache to the 2.4.54. This process only needs to be done one time.
- The first step is to check your current webserver build, to proceed, please open the Services tool in your system and locate the service “edinnM2 Web Server”, as stablished in the standard installation.
In the description of the service, while it is active and “Running”, you will find your current versions and build of Apache and PHP, please compare them to our actual supported versions previously mentioned.
If the versions of Apache and PHP match with the current supported versions, no update procedure is necessary, if not, please continue with the following steps.
- Stop the edinn M2 Web Server service.
- Follow the web server installation steps, replacing the folders in the computer by the downloaded ones. IMPORTANT: SKIP THE STEP 4 in the web server installation steps.
- If you have your web server document files in a path different to C:\Program Files\edinn\edinnM2\Server\websrv, follow this guide and reboot the "edinnM2 Web Server" service from your local services administrator.
- Now repeat the step number one and check that you have the new "PHP Version 7.4.30". In case of failure, please contact us.
