2. Stop services
In this step, we will stop the edinn services for performing the upgrade:
- Request permission to stop the edinn services to the client:
- From the desktop, on the taskbar, type “edinnM2Console.exe” on the windows search and right-click the app returned and select “Run as administrator”.
- In the Activity tab press “Stop service” in each of the services, going from bottom to top (starting with the Supervisor)
- Notify the start of the update to the client and the duration of the same (minimum 15-30 minutes, but study each case).
- Check in the Windows taskManager if all the services have stopped.
- Yes: proceed to deregister the files:
- Enter “C:\Program Files (x86)\edinn\edinnM2\Server”
- Right-click on “_dll-unregister.bat” and select “Run as administrator”
- Once the window is opened, press Enter.
- No: wait for the finalization of the services. If they do not finish, finish them manually in the taskManager and proceed to deregister.
